Just like most meteorologists, I have been interested in the weather since I was very young, growing up in the town of West Islip, NY on Long Island. However. before going to college at Penn State, golf appeared to be my most likely profession, as I had won a few national and international tournaments.
During my years at Penn State, I realized that focusing on getting an education was more important, thus I fully committed myself and successfully acquired my bachelors in meteorology, with minors in both geography and climatology.
Since graduation in May of 2009, I have been an active member of the Precision Weather Forecasting team alongside Bill Gile, as well as assisting Robert Gilman with his New England Weather Science duties. I also lead forecast discussions as part of the Penn State WxChallenge team. I am also an active member of the American Meteorological Society.
